Based on 10 hours of use per day, the RXD and DXS will last virtually maintenance free for more than 13 years. A 2x26W compact fluorescent will last on average only 2.7 years before lamp failure, therefore requiring five lamp changes over the same period.
Whether installed in an office environment with easy access or a hospital or retail outlet where access is difficult or where maintenance times are restricted, there will be significant cost reductions in through-life maintenance.
